Sheesh... you'd think that I'd at least make a sketch. Anyway, it seems one of TRG's members works at a compnay that makes peristaltic pumps. These are ideal as it allows me to dispense a known measure with each pump. There are several ways to  measure a dispensed liquid:

 1. weight
 1. flow meter
 1. know the volume pumped by your pump

Obviously, 3. is the best way to do this. Weighing on a mobile platform is problematic at best. A flowmeter ads a contamination point.
