iCybie is a low cost Robotic Dog, each leg has 3 motors and there are 3 motors to control the head and 1 to control the tail. It has 8 user-programmed voice commands and responds to it's IR remote. To load user code into the robot, you must either buy a ROM programming kit for $100 or populate the blank board that comes with the Cybie with two Flash chips. For full software development, a serial interface can be added to the robot. If you buy the [http://www.i-cybie.com/English/eaccessory/EaccEnter.html walk-up charger] for $70, it comes with a prebuilt ROM card and a 1400mAh battery pack. I have a Super I-Cybie (SIC) that can program ROM carts. This is an amazing little robot for it's current price of under $100, under $200 for a full software development setup. = Cybie links = Silverlit iCybie Robot site http://www.i-cybie.com/ Ebay iCybies http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?query=cybie Aibo Pet's Software Development Kit ICSDK http://www.aibohack.com/icybie/index.html Yahoo Group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/i-cybie/ Danh Trinh has disassembly pictures and a RS-232 hack page http://www.imaginerobots.com/index.asp ---- This page is maintained by Tom Davidson
