I am in the Computer Studies Department at Austin Community College. I usually teach C++ Programming and Data Structures classes, but I also teach a Robotic Fundamentals class in the Electronics Department.

Recently I have been working on a surveillance robot with remote telepresence. The robot is constructed using a PVC frame
and drive components (motor, gearbos, and wheels) scavenged from old kids electric ride-on toys. The robot is equiped with:
  * Rabbit 2000 microprocessor with web server
  * wireless router
  * ethernet camera
